And they even come with a blanket!
Sure, outdoor dining in the cold Philly winter might not sound all too amazing, but it totally will once you try one of Bar Bombón’s awesome winter cocktails while wrapped up in a warm, fuzzy blanket. This vegan, Latinamerican restaurant located near Rittenhouse Square, is serving warm boozy drinks to help keep you warm throughout the winter.
Bar Bombón rolled out its “Warm Up” menu earlier last month and we’re all about it. Options include a hot version of Coquito with white rum, warmed coconut milk, vanilla bean, cinnamon and nutmeg as well as a “Ponche de Otoño” made with brandy, hibiscus, guava, tamarind, apples and mulled spices, among other incredibly tasty cocktails. The menu also includes two non-alcoholic hot beverages — a traditional hot cocoa and a warm apple cider — that, if you so wished, you can spike up with your favorite spirit.
The bar is currently serving these out of cute thermoses to help keep your drinks and you warm as long as possible. Oh and as you’ve probably already guessed, these also come with your own Bar Bombón blanket for an added dose of warmth and comfort.
To go along with the warm drinks menu, Bar Bombón has also recently released a brand new Fall menu featuring all kinds of autumnal vegan delights. Some of these include vegan pumpkin spiced pancakes with cream “cheese” glaze, cinnamon candied walnut and a spiced rum and coffee reduction, a “sopa de otoño” made with sauteed chayote, thyme oil and vegetable broth and traditional Spanish rice among other delectable options.
Bar Bombón opens Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. It also offers Happy Hour Specials Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. For information make sure to check out their website!
