Adventure Aquarium just made summer way cooler -introducing Kaleidoscope Cove, a brand-new immersive experience that’s bursting with color, light, and under-the-sea magic.
This 2,000-square-foot wonderland is the aquarium’s biggest renovation in over ten years and trust us, the entire family will absolutely love it!
Camden’s Adventure Aquarium Just Got a Magical, Light-Filled Makeover
Now officially open, Kaleidoscope Cove is like walking into a living, glowing kaleidoscope.
Inspired by vibrant color, bioluminescence, and movement, the exhibit features more than 100 aquatic species, including 10+ newcomers never seen before at the aquarium.
Moreover, this isn’t just your typical fish tank setup.
At Kaleidoscope Cove, sea creatures are grouped by color, not geography, inviting guests to see marine life in a bold new way.
Expect to be wowed by flashlight fish, poison dart frogs, flamboyant cuttlefish, purple-striped jellyfish, and kid favorites like clownfish and hippo tangs.
“We challenged ourselves to think beyond the traditional aquarium experience,” said Mallory Hall, Creative Director at Herschend Creative Studios.
“Instead of focusing solely on habitat, we explored how elements like color and light could shape a new kind of exhibit—one that invites wonder, interaction, and learning through play.”
Indeed, no two visits are alike. As the sunlight pours in throughout the waterfront window, the space transforms throughout the day.

The new exhibit is designed for all ages, blending science, art, and tech into something unforgettable.
“This is a space where guests of all ages can connect, explore, and leave with a new perspective,” added Mallory Hall.
“We want to meet people where they are, using creativity and interactivity to deepen their connection with the ocean.”

- A Draw Alive mural where kids can bring their own sea creatures to life on a giant screen

- Soundscapes and shifting light zones that keep the whole experience flowing
