National Pickle Day falls on a Saturday this year, and Philadelphia is making the most of it. The Big Dill, which bills itself as the World’s Largest Pickle Party, takes over Stateside Live! in the South Philadelphia Sports Complex on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026, from 1 to 9 p.m. It’s the closing date of the 2026 “In My Pickle Era” national tour.
The timing is rare. National Pickle Day won’t land on a Saturday again until 2037, which is why organizers chose Philadelphia for the tour finale and expect the biggest National Pickle Day celebration yet.

The record attempt: Parade of the Pickles
The centerpiece is the Parade of the Pickles, an attempt at the record for the Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Pickles in History. The first 1,200 ticket buyers get a numbered pickle costume from Imposta Costumes, a commemorative patch, and an official photo. Organizers will document the count and have it independently verified on the day.
The mark to beat is the current published record for people dressed as fruits or vegetables: 888 people, set in Japan in 2017. The Big Dill aims to top it with pickle costumes only.

What’s on the bill
Every ticket includes unlimited sampling on Pickle Row, where 20 brands pour and serve more than 100 varieties. Local names include Fishtown Pickle Project, Penny Pickles, Delco Dills and the new Philadelphia Pickle Company in East Passyunk. Jersey Pickles, Doc Pickle and Green Kamikozee’s are also on the lineup.
More than 50 vendors will serve pickle-themed food, including pickle pizza, deep-fried pickle egg rolls, pickle pierogies, pickle grilled cheese, pickle wings and pickle milkshakes from Nifty Fifty’s. Guests 21 and older can try Jameson Pickle Backs, pickle margaritas and Evil Genius pickle beer.
Entertainment runs all day:
Music: A Pickle RAVE with DJ Jay Roy, live sets from Shot of Southern, two full-band sets from the South Philly String Band, and DJ Andrew Hugh.
Competitions: The World Pickle Eating Championship, the Brine Chug Challenge and the Pickle UP! game show.
Attractions: A mechanical pickle ride, a 25-foot inflatable jar called Big Brine, and TikTok’s Pickle Priest, who will bless pickles for one day only.

Run for a cause
The day also has a charitable side. Runner Morgan (@picklegirlruns), who ran a full marathon dressed as a pickle, will lead a Mini Run to the party on Nov. 14. The effort, called Grief Is a Big Dill, supports Comfort Zone Camp, which serves grieving kids, and ties into Children’s Grief Awareness Day on Nov. 19. Using promo code CZCPICKLE on any Imposta Costumes purchase benefits the camp.

The Big Dill began in Philadelphia in 2018 and has sold out every edition since 2019. Organizers say pickle fans from 38 states and Washington, DC, have bought tickets, and 84% of buyers live outside the city. The venue, Stateside Live!, finished a more than $20 million expansion in May 2026. Brand partners include NRG, Pella Windows & Doors and Renewal by Andersen.
