One of Northeast Philadelphia’s most scenic summer traditions is making its return as 3rd Thursdays at Glen Foerd kicks off its 2026 season later this month.
Held at Glen Foerd along the Delaware River, the free outdoor series invites visitors to enjoy live music, local food vendors, art activities, and self-guided mansion tours one Thursday each month through September.
The seasonal event series begins Thursday May 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with guests encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to relax across the estate’s waterfront grounds.
What to expect at 3rd Thursdays at Glen Foerd 🎶
Opening night will feature food from El Torro Serrano and live music from Philadelphia dream pop and synth-rock band The Noisy. Visitors can also explore the historic mansion during free self-guided tours throughout the evening.
Each event offers a mix of family-friendly activities and outdoor entertainment designed to bring the community together in one of the city’s most unique riverfront settings.

Admission is pay-what-you-wish, with a suggested $10 donation supporting Glen Foerd’s year-round community programming and cultural events.
Located on an 18-acre estate in Northeast Philadelphia, Glen Foerd remains one of the area’s only cultural and historic waterfront destinations, regularly hosting public events, workshops, and arts programming through the year.

The grounds of Glen Foerd are open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. However, access to Glen Foerd is only restricted during private events and after dark.
Additionally, the Glen Foerd mansion is open for public visitation, free of charge, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Visitors have access to areas on all four floors of the house. Pieces from Glen Foerd’s historic collection are on display alongside installations by Artists in Residence.
