The majestic French château-style mansion was completed in 1895 for industrialist Jon Pitcairn. It remains one of the most architecturally significant private estates in Pennsylvania.
Designed by celebrated architects John M. Carrère and Thomas Hastings, the estate blends French Renaissance beauty with classical European influences. The dreamy ambiance perfectly complements the Regency-inspired masquerade.
The event lasts approximately three and a half hours and benefits fundraising outreach efforts hosted by Cairn Club, Inc. Furthermore, the masked ball also supports the preservation and ongoing mission of Cairnwood Estate as a National Historic Landmark and cultural destination.
